All of our cat groomers are trained by one of our Master Cat Groomers, all of whom have completed National Cat Groomers Institute training and some of whom are working toward their certification.
Our Cat Groomer Extraordinaire’s are those groomers who have successfully completed all basic training with flying colors! Cat Groomer Extraordinaire’s are in continuing education for advanced techniques to handle more diffult cats or cat grooming situations.
Madison Massey, one of our Cat Groomer Extraordinares’ brings a calming energy to each grooming appointment making her especially well suited for shy or fractious kitties. Trained by our Head Groomer Angie, coupled with her 3 years of experience in kennel tech and dog grooming, Madison has excelled in our grooming program and she can’t wait to meet your cat!
Our Head Groomer and Salon & Store owner, Angie, has been actively involved in cat rescue for over 20 years. With that comes over 2 decades of experience handling cats from literally all alley’s of life, from full blown feral to dangerously scared. She has handled cats with the full spectrum of skin and health issues, making her an expert at illness recognition and trained in remedy administration.
Even with decades of experience in handling and bathing cats, Angie knew the advantages of proper professional feline grooming training and completed National Cat Groomer’s Institute training and is working toward her final Master Groomer certification.
Angie oversees Salon operations while tending to our most special needs kitties grooms and providing support and training to our Apprentices and Cat Groomer Extraordinaire’s.
Our team of cats even designed a custom in-house signature scent and soap that’s both attractive to cats and calming: Catonic.
